Emily Irene VanCamp who initially wanted to become a professional dancer became interested in acting after she met her sister Katie on the set of the movie Ladies Room. Alongside taking acting lessons, VanCamp landed an appearance on a show that aired in Canada. She was a part of, among other shows, in the series Are You Scared Of the Dark? Radio Active and Dice. VanCamp had a big significant breakthrough in his career following getting a role on Glory Days, the WB mystery horror show. Although the show received positive reviews, its low ratings caused it to be removed after only nine episodes. Actually, she was quick in securing another role as Amy Abbott on Everwood. She was nominated in 4 Teen Choice Awards and a Young Artist Award.
